Testing and recognition for the AIRA/HIMSS Immunization Integration Program.

What it does

The Immunization Integration Program (IIP), led by the American Immunization Registry Association (AIRA) and partnered with HIMSS, includes a Testing and Recognition initiative that validates Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.

The tool is used for an alternative ONC Health IT Certification method for the (f)(1) 2015 criterion. The underlying message validation is performed using the NIST Immunization Test Suite Platform using the HIMSS developed test plan.
